Site Assessment & Surveying

When you’re looking at a new build or renovating/expanding an existing system, it is extremely reassuring to have an accredited and experienced professional visit the site and consult on the ideal placement of your septic and utilities.

To get a better idea of your system requirements we ask clients to fill out an Owner Declaration Form outlining the proposed occupancy and usage of the property. We then assess the site and consider: location of wells, fresh water supplies, breakout points, perimeter drains and property lines. We also take into consideration vegetation and soils, equipment access, surface and groundwater intrusion, rock, sand, gravel and topsoil supplies. We analyze the soil composition and permeability while we are onsite.

After completing the site assessment we have an excellent understanding of any possible constraints, and we are able to design the ideal system for your needs.

Septic System Design & Installation

Diggin’ It is a full service septic system installer. We pride ourselves in doing the entire job in house. As a Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner we will gladly walk you through the entire process: site assessment, perc testing, design, installation, waste disposal and owner maintenance. Our years of experience have made us experts in assessing aging systems, evaluating the viability of repairs, renovations, additions and/or replacement. We have a broad range of experience in both residential and commercial treatment systems and are readily available for a site visit and free estimate. We are ASTTBC certified, fully insured and WCB covered.
